Backup requirements are very highly individualized. This is especially true if you use the computer for business. Have a backup device, have a backup plan, and use them! Hard drives, while they have gotten much better over the years, are electromechanical devices and eventually will fail. It's not a question of "if"; it's a question of "when". And when they fail, you lose everything that is not backed up. At best, this will be all your email, your email address book, and all your bookmarks. At worst, it can include all your financial information and other important documents. There's an old saying; "there are two kinds of people, those who backup their data often, and those who wished they had"!
While taking frequent backups is a great first step, it's only half the equation. We rarely see new clients who have a tested restore procedure in place. Without it, all those backups you've been taking are worthless. Contact us so we can help you develop a backup/restore strategy that works for you. We can even totally automate the procedure whether you have 1 computer or a large network.
